Repertoire development days 2010

Welcome to the application page for Musikalliansen’s repertoire development days 2010!

Musikalliansen offers musicians employed by Musikalliansen, and other professional singers and musicians, the opportunity to rehearse and to make a high quality recording over a 1-5-day period. As the collaboration with SAMI has ceased, the groups accepted will have to find suitable rehearsal rooms/studio themselves this time. **Musikalliansen will cover all costs and pay a daily allowance to musicians who are not employed by Musikalliansen**. A cost ceiling will, however, be set.
NB! This year, applications are made directly here on the website – see below. Rehearsals will take place between 1 May and 30 October for the groups selected.
Your application should include:
• Link to Myspace, website, mp3 or similar. Your application and recordings can also be sent by post.
• Motivation/what you hope to achieve from the repertoire development days – it is important to state in detail what you hope to achieve as the selection committee attaches importance to specific projects.

During the selection process, consideration will be given to:
• Equal opportunities
• Specialist area/genre
• Geographic distribution
• Trade
• Motivation/aim

Material recorded during the RD days may not be released. If you are accepted, you will be required to sign an assurance to this effect. It is also important that you see this as a project development and rehearsal opportunity rather than financial help to record material already finished.
NB! Those who applied in 2009 are required to submit a new application! Musikalliansen has kept previously submitted CDs but not links. If you have previously submitted a CD, you can refer to this in your application.
**Applications must be registered by 15 April**
